The Kooks hurled abuse at the VIP section of the Isle of Wight Festival while on stage yesterday.
During his band's set, singer Luke Pritchard told the specials guests section: "Hello VIP, how are you doing?"
After the audience booed, the frontman added: "Yeah, f**k off!"
The crowd cheered Pritchard's comments and then proceeded to throw bottles at the VIP tent.
Other acts performing at the event over the weekend included The Sex Pistols, The Police, Sugababes and Kaiser Chiefs.
