Rockers Snow Patrol have revealed work on their latest album has been hampered by an invasion of bats.
Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody says the band has been working and living in a little Irish house by a lake as they create new tracks for their forthcoming EP.
He says, "As the sun goes down the bats come out. They swoop just outside the living room windows.
"I went to my room and turned on the light to find a bat. But we got it sorted."
The 'You're All I Have' hitmakers, who say they are excited about their new material, have all of the bat action on tape and have promised to post a video on their fan site.
